The Harriers had a good trip to the country for Round 2 of XCR at Lardner Park, with 14 runners taking on the challenging course.

First up were our men in the 8km, with Shaun Green once again Malvern's fastest with a time of 31:11. John Williams (32:20) took first place in the 60+ age group. Jaco Kukkuk is in good form and ran 33:39, earning himself the coveted "Sock award". Good runs from several runners meant that we finised second in division three.

Subsequently, the course was chopped up for the women who had to contend with the mud through the ditches. Tracey Austin was Malvern's fastest on the 4km course with a run 14:32, which put her in 10th position overall. Una Kelleher (20:51), Eimear Fox (21:17) and Christine Horn (23:29) also ran strongly.
