We are excited to announce a new partnership with flexed Physiotherapy. The services that Josh and the flexed team offer include physiotherapy, sports massage, nutrition advice, and Pilates classes. With their clinic at 95 Glenferrie Rd, Malvern, flexed are well positioned locally to our clubrooms. Our discussions with flexed gives us confidence that their approach aligns well with our club ethos. Josh will drop by to say “Hi” and to tell us more about flexed shortly.
125 years of the Malvern Harriers is celebrated in this exhibit of photographs, ephemera, athletic wear and other items from the history of the club and athletics.
The exhibition will be opened by the mayor of the City of Stonnington, Cr Jami Klisaris on Saturday, 26 August at 2pm with additional opening hours on the following day and weekend.
It is with great sadness that I advise that Trevor Robbins, life member, has passed away. Our condolences are with Trevor's wife Leonie and family at this time.
Many of you would know Trevor in relation to the club's 8km cross country handicap and of course, the book that captures the club's first 100 years, "Running into History".
Trevor joined the Malvern Harriers in 1946 and was made a life member in 1975. His athletic career was a decorated one, including:
The results are in from the 2016 membership survey. The standout statistic is that 100% of the 18 respondents would recommend the Malvern Harriers to others.
The survey was introduced as part of Athletics Victoria's Club Connect program, which is intended to strengthen affiliated clubs through improved governance and communications.
